Calie asked around at the mall what the best coffee place around her was they said it was this place. She got herself a carmel frapichino, her favirote. She sighed a little lonely, bored and depressed she missed her old school. She shed a tear and wispered to herself, "I wish I was still at my old home......Im alone here." for now any way.

Misty walked into the coffee shop. This was unusal of her because she not a fan of coffee. Although, they did serve hot chocolate. She saw a girl sitting alone at a table and realized that she was probably new here. "Hello," Misty said as she walked over. "So, are you new here? I never saw you here last year."
The teenage girl stood next to the table with her hands crossed across her chest. Misty almost always tried to be nice. Sometimes, people would get on her bad side, though. She had a kind expression on her face and before she could answer Misty asked, "Are you ready for school to start?"

Misty smiled to her and replied, "That's okay, I don't know if I'm ready for school anyway. By the way, I'm Misty Kennedy." She stuck out her hand for the new girl to shake. Misty glanced over to the counter. She would go get a hot chocolate and come join this girl.

"Okay, I'm going to go get some hot chocolate but do you mind if I join you when I get back?" she asked. Misty wanted to make this new girl Calie to feel welcome here in her home town. Misty had lived here since she was 6 so she as least knew what it was to be the new person once.

Misty walked over to the counter and had to wait in line after two other people. The first one didn't know what to choose and it took about three minutes just to order dark coffee. Then, the next person, a man, got his drink and moved on. Misty ordered her drink, "I'd like hot chocolate please." The girl walked back over to the table and sat down with the steaming liquied. It was a little hard to hold but she didn't mind. Misty blew accross the surface of her hot chocolate and took a sip. "Aaahhh," she grunted. "I burned my mouth. Guess I'll have to wait a couple minutes for it to cool off."

"Oh I'm okay with it, it was my fault I should have known better," she said. Misty really didn't want to let it bother her. "So, have you been here long enough to find any cute guys? I've got an incredible boyfriend." Misty smiled when she talked about Alex, but didn't want to make her like she was bragging or anything. Calie probably hadn't see many of her classmates but Misty figured she would ask anyway.

"Uggh I wish!" she said laughing, "I've barley gotten out of my house, I've been helping my parents unpack things. Your lucky, I had a boy friend at my old town, but they say long distance relationships never work out........but such is life." she said a frown on her face, but she tried to perk up by saying, "Sooooo, tell me about your special beau, is he cute." she said in her girly giggle.

"Oh of course," she replied smiling. "And he's got muscles too!" Misty just couldn't stop smiling. She loved Alex even though they hadn't been going out for very long. "When I see Alex sometime, I'll introduce you." She finished her hot chocolate and started to get up. "Well, I'm going to head off now. You can come if you want?"

"Okay, well I think the best place for you to meet people is probably at the mall. I'm going to call Alex to see if he can meet us there. It will be more fune with the three of us," she said. Misty pulled out her cell phone from her purse and dialed his number.

Misty smiled to Calie and listened for Alex to pick up his phone. She really wanted to introduce her to her boyfriend. Misty just shrugged and hung up. "Well, I guess he'll have to call me back then. I'm sure that he will see I called. Anyway, the mall isn't far from here so I'm going to walk. I like to go on long walks to different places," she said. Misty walked out of the coffee shop and stepping into the warm fresh air.

Calie followed her outside, "So what your favirote store in the mall? Mine's Pacific Surfer, you know Billabong, Hurly, Volcom? The things there are like sooooooo cute but in a punk kinda' way."

Misty laughed a little but replied, "Yeah, before I started going out with Alex, pretty much the only reason why I came to the mall was to look for guys. But those stores are cool. Our mall is kinda small though, we don't have Hurly or Volcom. The other stores I go to but not often."
